Holiday Handmade

If you have even an extra half hour next weekend, preferably more (and I’m betting you will), you should head over to Holiday Handmade, lauded as “Denver’s first alternative craft fair,” presented by Fancy Tiger (a very cool little shop in my neighborhood that offers classes in things like sewing, embroidery, and book binding).  The lovely Lacey will be there (click on her name to see some of the cool things she’s been working on in addition to her funky, famous lightswitch plates!).  Please note the event isn’t actually going to be held at Fancy Tiger, but at Capsule Art & Event Center on Santa Fe, just south of 6th.  In addition to featuring handmade gifts for purchase by local artists like Lacey, I hear there will also be some “make and take” classes where you, reader, will get to do some mad crafting of your own.

Blast! I will be out of town for this. I do love the Fancy Tiger shop. Takes lots of photos for me to ooh and aah over, please.
