My favorite post today: you get what you pay for, more or less. I’ve been toying with the idea that $70 shouldn’t be a high limit for shoes for the rest of my life. I’m also interested in the magazine this came from: ShopSmart. It’s published by the same company as Consumer Reports, and is intended to be like Consumer Reports, only for women. One article I read pointed out that most women’s magazines serve their advertisers, not their readers, and this one hopes to change that. Has anyone seen it?
