I live where mountains and plains meet. Well, several miles from there, actually, but I can see where they meet. On a clear day. I make my living by making art accessible to others. I like being inspired, I like learning new things, I love traveling, but I hate to shop (except for books). I’m at my best when I’m noticing beauty in everyday things — the more overlooked they are, the more beautiful. If there’s eggplant on the menu, I typically order it. I’m a sparkling water connoisseur (even though bottled sparkling water is falling out of fashion), and a lover of art that makes me think. Sometimes I read a lot, and sometimes I don’t, but I wish my life could be long enough to read every good book ever written.

Hi,
I’ve been lurking on your site for months – don’t even remember how I first happened upon it. I’m also a single, twenty-something gal living in the Denver area. I just wanted to thank you for saying what you say and for putting it out there for the rest of us to read. I see so many little pieces of me in what you write and it helps to be reminded that I’m not alone in the world. Thank you.
