You've started a great conversation here. I've protected my work as best I can, but a lot of people still pull images without my permission. The images are used to compliment my work, and I appreciate the support, but at the same time--all you have to do is ask and I'll provide pics. Some of the photos I post have been shot by photographers who require the work to be credited to them and "borrowed" photos put me in a bit of a sticky situation. However, I didn't want to infringe on the artist's (well-protected) copyright, even for the purposes of promoting her work -- if she took the trouble to protect it, I'm not going to circumvent it. ;) It is a good trick, though, isn't it? I'm sure you never used that on, say, a software developed at DU and used heavily by art faculty and students...
