Not eating gluten or dairy (in general, with exceptions such as moderate amounts of pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes, and cornbread the last couple of days), one would think that ice cream would be completely out of the question. And it is. But had I not given up the Haagen Dasz (again, can’t remember how to put the umlaut above the first “a” in Haagen) and Breyers, I probably never would have discovered Good Karma’s Organic Rice Divine. It’s at least as good as regular ice cream, only it’s organic. And dairy free. And vegan. And gluten free. But even better than these features is that it comes in two of the best flavors ever: Carrot Cake (gluten-free carrot cake, even!) and coconut mango (coconut has always been one of my favorite flavors). Anyway, I love them, and even if gluten- and lactose- and animal product-free isn’t usually your thing, I recommend you try this stuff…
