You know, I don’t know if I’ve ever had an artichoke. Except I think they may have been on a pizza I ate in Italy one time? Or was that Germany?

Oh my — if you’ve only had the weird preserved artichokes that they put on pizza, you’re absolutely missing out. The fresh ones are like a completely different food, kind of like comparing sauerkraut to cabbage.
